Somali peacekeeping army to undertake significant changes


The commissioner of Somalia’s peace keeping army, General Bashir Mohamed Jama’a alias Bashir Gobe has stated that the forces will be expanded and facilities provided to the army in the coming days.

The director of the national security agency added that soldiers wearing uniform will be reduced and increase plain clothes soldiers.

“we want to make significant changes to peacekeeping army so that peace can prevailin our country “ said Mr. Bashir Gobe.

The peacekeeping army in Somalia work as intelligence, spying for the state internally so as to achieve stability in the fragile state.
