JOHANNESBURG – South African aid organisation Gift of the Givers is calling for donations as it prepares to ship tons of food and medical supplies to Somalia.
The organisation says the country is facing famine, and help is needed.
Around 50,000 children are facing malnutrition and starvation in Somalia.
Gift of the Givers says cash and medical donations are welcomed.
Somalia was also struck by food shortages in 2011.
