The Ministry of National Security, of the Federal Government of Somalia
strongly condemns the killing of two United Nations (UNODC) consultants today in Galkayo.
“We condemn the killing of the two UN consultants today in Galkayo who have been assisting our
country to overcome serious challenges . Their loss of life is a major loss for the Somali people and for
the entire world. The Federal Government of Somalia and the regional administrations are determined
to bring the perpetrator to justice and we convey our sincere condolence to their families of the
deceased and to the United Nations family,” said the spokesperson of the Ministry”
