Deputy prosecutor of Somalia’s military court, Abdullahi Hussein Mayonge has been shot and wounded in a drive-by shooting in Mogadishu, witness said.
The victim was gunned down by suspected Al Shabab gunmen armed with pistols and AK-47s in Warta-Nabadda district, a witness told Shabelle Media.
“I heard several gunshots then when I came out, I saw luxury vehicle running speedily after being carried out the attack”, a local resident said.
He was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The killers reportedly fled from the crime scene.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
