The Interim Jubbaland administration has announced a list of upper house candidates, becoming the third regional administration to make the declaration.
The emerged and emerging federal states of Somalia have been given two-day deadline to present their lists of upper house members, in a bid to avoid a another setback in the election.
Jubbaland president Ahmed Madobe nominated 8-member candidates for upper house chamber, according to a statement obtained by Shabelle Media Network based in Mogadishu.
Puntland, Galmudug and Jubbaland met the deadline given by the Somali electoral commission and put forward their quota seats in the upper house chamber of next Somali parliament.
